Internships are available year-round for graduate and undergraduate students with an interest in political survey research, progressive issues and campaigns.

The ideal candidate has an educational or professional background in survey methodology, campaign experience, and/or political science coursework or volunteer experience. Internships are perfect for those who are interested in learning the inner workings of political consulting firms, Democratic politics, and public opinion research.

The tasks interns perform generally depend upon their ability and their goals for the internship. We are committed to offering a balance of administrative and substantive tasks for our interns. We work with interns to set and reach goals for their time here, whether they be academic requirements, or finding a job here in Washington that suits their career aspirations.
